VYAPI, aka Dhiraj Hirolli, is a dynamic Acid Techno DJ and producer from Bangalore, India. After transitioning from a successful commercial DJ career into the underground scene, he quickly established a distinct identity rooted in hypnotic 303 sequences, raw energy, and powerful, driving techno. His alias, VYAPI derived from Sanskrit, meaning “Engulfing” or “All-Encompassing” perfectly reflects the immersive and intense nature of his sound.

A major milestone in his journey came with the release of his track Convolutions on Oliver Huntemann’s renowned Senso Sounds imprint. The track gained further recognition when Huntemann himself played it at Germany’s iconic Fusion Festival, one of Europe’s biggest electronic music festivals.

Before this, VYAPI made a strong debut with the Red Rift EP on Occultus Recordings (#2 Hard Techno Label – All Time). The 3-track EP showcased his signature acid-infused sound and distinctive 303-driven approach, with one of the tracks later being featured in the label’s prestigious 10 Years Best Releases Compilation VA.

Continuing his rise, VYAPI has also signed with Soupherb Records, one of India’s most respected electronic music labels, further cementing the strength and quality of his productions.

Beyond music production, he curates and hosts STEEL, a podcast series dedicated to Peak-Time, Driving, and Acid Techno, featuring carefully selected sounds from across the underground spectrum. With a growing catalog of releases and an uncompromising dedication to Dark, Driving Acid Techno, VYAPI is steadily carving his place in the global electronic music scene.
